Summer Update!

So I've been extremely busy finishing up my Master's Degree this summer, but I'm almost done!!  While it's a huge accomplishment, it means I've really not been able to get into my classroom at all (being 3 hours away from your classroom makes it a little difficult ;) ).  Good news is I'll have my MS in about 2 weeks, I moved back to Nashville on Thursday, and I'll finally have time to get into my lovely school and work! :)

I don't have too much to update ya'll on, but here's what has happened within the past few weeks :)


I've gotten creative with my classroom decor and can't WAIT to show ya'll what I've made myself.  I'm putting the last few touches on my projects, but here's a sneak peak at some of my decor :)  My awesome friend Jimmy helped me out with a UT rocking chair...I had to bring some Vol spirit back to Nashville ;)

Yesterday I dropped by my school to drop off some adorable post cards to be mailed out to my students.  This is something our school encouraged us to do (okay...they required it), and I think it's a GREAT idea!! I think every teacher should do this :)

I can't wait to meet my little ones in a few short weeks!

I've also realized how much I love pulling up to my school and being greeted by the virgin Mary.  It's a very comforting feeling, and I'm excited to be surrounded by fellow Catholics every day!  Can't wait to teach my students about our faith :)

And finally, I was super excited to see my name posted outside of my classroom!  It's starting to feel very official :)
